New CEC Express Entry Draw: CRS at 507

Express Entry candidates in the Canadian Experience Class just saw another important draw — and the CRS cut-off is moving.

Express Entry candidates in the Canadian Experience Class just saw another important draw — and the CRS cut-off is moving.

On March 17, 2026, IRCC held a new Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Express Entry draw, inviting 4,000 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 507. This is a welcome development for many CEC candidates watching scores closely, and it reflects continued selection activity for applicants with Canadian work experience. While a lower CRS threshold can be encouraging, it does not guarantee invitations in future rounds, and scores can move in both directions over time.

If you received an Invitation to Apply, your focus now should be on submitting a complete and accurate application within IRCC’s deadline and requirements. This includes proper proof of Canadian work experience, language results, police certificates, medicals, and consistent details across your Express Entry profile and eAPR. Careful preparation at this stage is essential, as errors or missing documents can lead to delays or even refusal.

If you are in the CEC pool or have just received an ITA and are unsure about your documents, timelines, or strategy, ATA Immigration can guide you through the process in a structured and compliant way, so you understand your obligations and can present your application as clearly and accurately as possible.
