IRCC has issued one of the most targeted Express Entry draws we’ve seen: a category-based round for skilled military recruits, with only 4 invitations. On July 23, 2026, IRCC held a category-based Express Entry draw specifically for skilled military recruits. Just 4 invitations to apply were issued, with a minimum CRS score of 368. A tie‑breaking rule was applied: if more than one eligible candidate had 368 points, priority went to candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile before June 2, 2026, at 20:11:26 UTC. This type of draw is highly specialized. A CRS score of 368 on its own does not make a candidate eligible. To be considered, you must already qualify for Express Entry (for example, under CEC, FSWP or FSTP), be in the pool, and meet the specific requirements for this military-focused category. It is also important to remember that an invitation to apply is not the same as permanent residence approval—IRCC will still review your program eligibility, documentation, and medical, criminal and security admissibility.
