📈 New PNP-Only Express Entry Draw: What the Numbers Mean

IRCC has issued a new Express Entry round targeting only Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, with a much higher CRS cut-off than most general draws.

IRCC has issued a new Express Entry round targeting only Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, with a much higher CRS cut-off than most general draws. On August 31, 2026, IRCC held Express Entry draw #438 for candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program, issuing 562 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). The minimum CRS score invited was 697, and when several candidates shared that score, invitations went to those whose Express Entry profiles were submitted earlier than April 12, 2026 at 04:32:26 UTC. CRS cut-offs in PNP-only rounds are typically high because an accepted provincial or territorial nomination adds 600 points to an Express Entry profile. In this draw, candidates needed both a qualifying nomination and continued eligibility for at least one federal Express Entry program. An ITA is an important step, but it is not permanent residence approval. If you received an ITA from this draw, use your 60-day window carefully. Confirm your nomination is still valid, your CRS calculation is correct, your language results and key documents are valid, and that any changes in your personal situation have been properly reflected in your profile and application. ATA Immigration can help review your ITA, recalculate your CRS score, and support you in preparing a complete application within the deadline. 🧭 Learn More About Canadian Immigration Pathways: https://www.ataimmigration.com/immigration-canada 📚 Explore Express Entry–Related Services: https://www.ataimmigration.com/ 📅 Get Support With Your ITA and Application: https://www.ataimmigration.com/book-online
