IRCC has just issued new Invitations to Apply under a Provincial Nominee Program-specific Express Entry draw — and the cutoff number is catching attention. On August 17, 2026, IRCC ran a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)–specific Express Entry draw, inviting 442 candidates to apply for permanent residence with a minimum CRS score of 760. Where more than one candidate had 760 points, invitations went to those who had submitted their profile before August 7, 2026 at 18:01:56 UTC. A score of 760 in a PNP round typically reflects a combination of your base CRS score plus 600 points from an approved provincial or territorial nomination. That added 600 points is exactly why PNP-only draws usually post higher cutoffs than all-program or category-based rounds. Being invited in a PNP-specific draw means two things: you met the requirements for a PNP stream aligned with Express Entry, and your nomination was active at the time of the draw. If you received an Invitation to Apply, the timeline and accuracy of your application now matter just as much as your score. IRCC reviews your eligibility, supporting documents and admissibility before granting permanent residence, and you have 60 days to submit a complete application. This is a key moment to reconfirm details such as work history, marital status, language tests and education before you file.
